Managing users correctly is important so that product managers, content creators, marketers, and administrators can access the product data they need.
Each user has the ability to see their account information, change their password, and set their preferences.
Now, let’s get into the steps for adding a new user in UnoPIM.
Steps to Create Users in UnoPIM
To create new user login your UnoPim dashboard.
Then go to the Settings > Users and click on Create User to add a new user.
After that to create a user in UnoPIM, fill out the following sections:
- Name: Write the full name of the user so they can be identified in the system.
- Email: Enter a valid email address for confirming the account and sending notifications.
- Password: Create a strong password to keep the user’s account safe from unauthorized access.
- UI Locale: Pick the language and regional settings that the user prefers for the interface.
- Timezone: Choose the user’s timezone to ensure correct scheduling and timestamps.
- Role: Select a role (like Product Manager, Content Creator, Marketer, or Administrator) to set permissions and access levels.
- Status: Set the user’s status to either active or inactive to manage their access to the system.
- Image: You can upload a profile picture if you want to personalize the account.
Once completed, verify the information before saving the new user profile.
A new user has been successfully added to the user datagrid, as you can see in the image below.
